D. Pharmacy

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) program at Punyashlok Ahilyadevi College of Pharmacy is a two-year undergraduate course designed to equip students with foundational knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy. The course focuses on both the theoretical aspects and practical applications of pharmaceutical sciences, preparing students for a career in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare settings, and community pharmacy.

The program covers subjects related to the preparation, dispensation, and regulation of drugs, patient care, and the ethical responsibilities of a pharmacy professional. Students will gain essential knowledge in pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, and medicinal plants, while also developing their interpersonal and professional skills for effective communication and service delivery.

Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)

 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects.

 

Admissions to the D. Pharm course are typically based on merit or entrance exams (if applicable). Candidates need to fill out the application form and submit the required documents for verification. Shortlisted candidates may be called for further counseling or an interview.
